The idea of obtaining a hidden camera for home use never ever crossed my thoughts until my long-trusted nanny went away. Simply because I had gotten so used to having her, I was not immediately sold on trusting her newly hired replacement. I needed to find out initially if I can truly trust her to be alone within my home with my 2 little boys.
I confided with my husband regarding this issue, who soon recommended that we obtain a 4 channel wireless digital video recording complete system which he found on the web.
The spy surveillance system included four wireless cameras that will transmit footage to a 2.4 GHz digital wireless 4 channel – H.264 DVR system capable of networking.
Thanks to its network function, my husband and I get access to the videos anytime and anyplace a net connection is available. Even our own 3G cellular phones get remote access to video footage.
We get to review all the video recordings within our offices by just logging into an IP address that had been set up for our wireless surveillance system.
Because all four are bullet cameras tiny enough to fit in the palm of the hand, installing them covertly in important spots within the house wasn’t any problem whatsoever. We positioned these security cameras within strategic locations where any dishonest person would definitely be found red-handed: one in the master’s bedroom, another within our kids’ room, and two inside the family room.
Illumination is also no big issue for these types of day/night cameras mainly because, just like infrared cameras, each camera includes a built-in infrared light source. This assures a clear recording not only in the daytime ,when enough light from the surroundings can be obtained, but even with very little ambient light such as at night.
I feel happy simply because I didn’t expect that a hidden camera for home use would be such a breeze to use. Furthermore, we have had the system mounted for more than two months now and the footage we have covered to date raises no red flags regarding our brand new nanny.
